Merryn J Trevethan is a practicing artist known for her vibrant, dynamic paintings that explore the urban landscape. She has held many successful solo exhibitions including Thanks for the downgrade… you should all be fired! at Fehily Contemporary and has been included in many group exhibitions and art prizes. In 2005 Merryn completed her Masters of Fine Arts (by research) at Monash University and has undertaken residencies at Red Gate Gallery in Beijing China and Point B Worklodge Brooklyn (New York) since then.
In 2010 Merryn received extensive training from Patti Brady the Head of Golden’s Working Artist Program and is now Victoria’s only Certified Golden Artist Educator. She regularly holds workshops that specialise in acrylic painting techniques at The Art Room.
